Chapman University Delta Tau Delta "Delta Queen" Philanthropy Event Volunteer, Orange, CA: Our 2017 Delta Queen show raised nearly $30,000 and put Delta Tau Delta over the $1million threshold of money donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), an incredible organization dedicated to the treatment and elimination of Type 1 diabetes. March 2017.
Volunteer, Chaparral House, Berkeley, CA: Provided resident-centered care in a home-like environment in a consistently highly rated Nonprofit Skilled Nursing Eldercare Community. Care included reading, playing games and leading craft activities for the residents. October 2013 - November 2016.
Tutor and Volunteer, Saint Theresa Extended Care Program, Oakland, CA: During high school, I returned to my elementary school to help provide students with a safe and nurturing environment, outdoor recreation, enrichment activities, a homework zone and nutritious snacks.
